NAME OF THE GAME

“Name of the Game” is a Kenyan short film created as part of a weekly-scene challenge. The story centers on Maurice Kiema’s character, who becomes entangled in a high-stakes confrontation revolving around power, ambition, and the rules people play by in their personal “game.” Through tense dialogue and intimate moments, the film explores themes of reputation, manipulation, and the cost of winning. As the lead navigates pressures from those around him, he must decide how far he’s willing to go to stay on top — and what he’s prepared to sacrifice in the process.
