HEART WANTS

Directed by Wairimu Kimotho and starring Kennedy Kimuli and Joan Kamau, this Kenyan short film explores the complicated intersection of desire, loyalty and the decisions we make when our hearts pull us in directions we can’t easily control. As a short, it layers in the tension of unspoken attraction, the risk of stepping outside of what’s comfortable, and the emotional cost of giving in to the heart’s yearnings.
